Storytime @ Prosser (Mon., Sept. 14th, 10:30 AM)
Join BPL librarians at Prosser for a weekly preschool storytime!
Each Monday, BPL librarians share stories and songs in the Prosser Community Room followed by an optional craft, coloring, or playtime in the youth department. Best for ages 5 and under. Registration is appreciated, but not required. Drop-ins welcome!
CHET “Dream Big” Information Table (Prosser) (Wed., Sept. 16th, 3:00 PM)
A representative from CHET (a 529 College Savings program) will be at Prosser to answer questions about this year’s “Dream Big” competition. Stop by their table anytime between 3:00 and 4:30 for information. The contest is open for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
For students who would like a quiet space to work, we’ll open the Community Room from 4:30 to 6:00. Students must work on their own, but the library will provide paper, pencils, and coloring materials.
Moon Presentation by the Astronomical Society (Prosser) (Thur., Sept. 17th, 5:00 PM)
Did you know that every year in September or October the whole world acknowledges International Observe the Moon Night? You can be part of the celebration! Join us for a family-friendly presentation exploring moon myths, the history of lunar exploration, and some simple tips for observing the moon.
Best for ages 8 and up, but all are welcome! Registration is appreciated.
