Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in China and which has now been detected in many locations internationally, including in the United States. The disease has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”). Here are some guidelines and sources to get more information.

  • Shine is an app that features daily support for your mental health, a new self-care strategy every day, and a global community to help you feel less alone. The Shine app is available from the Apple App and Google Play stores. (Note: the basic app is free, but the premium service costs money).
