Hoopla
Hoopla enables you to borrow movies and television shows (to download or stream) straight from your browser, tablet, or smartphone for FREE. Hoopla also includes access to music albums, audiobooks, e-books, comics, e-magazines, The Great Courses, and more! You will need your Bloomfield library card and an email address to create a Hoopla account. The Hoopla app is available for download in most app stores.
- Each patron can borrow 5 items per month. The 7-day BingePass allows unlimited access to e-magazines, The Great Courses, and more.

Kanopy & Kanopy Kids
Bloomfield Public Library is proud to provide Kanopy, a streaming service for quality entertainment. Its curated collection of over 30,000 titles includes award-winning films, documentaries, world cinema, indie and classic films, film festival favorites, and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain.
Kanopy provides an ad-free experience that can be enjoyed on your TV, mobile phone, tablet, or computer by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku. You will need your Bloomfield library card and an email address to create a Kanopy account.
Kanopy Kids highlights films and TV series that help children develop empathy, mindfulness, and self-esteem through entertaining and educational videos. Kanopy Kids has unlimited access that does not count towards play credits. Choose “Go to Kanopy Kids” from the top menu in your Kanopy account.
- Each patron account gets 15 tickets per month. As you browse Kanopy’s titles, you’ll see the number of tickets required to watch each title and how long you have to watch it. See “How Tickets Work” for more details.
- Kanopy Kids titles are freely available, so watching them does not require tickets.
- All Kanopy titles are available for viewing immediately – no waiting in line!
