Bloomfield Public Library, along with other libraries in the greater-Hartford area, transitioned to a new online library system in early June. Please be patient with us as we make this transition. We are learning the new system, too!

The new system offers patrons a more modern and user-friendly way to search for materials, manage your online library account, and discover new items.

• To access your online library account visit the My Account login page, or visit the new BPL Online Catalog (click here) and click the Log In button in the upper right corner. PINs from the old system have not been transferred, so you must set a new password for your online library account. Choose “Reset Password,” enter your library card number, and follow the prompts. You must have an email address on file with the library in order to reset your password using this method. Otherwise, please ask a staff member for assistance.
• Download the new Library Connection Mobile app to manage your online library account, search the catalog, and access all things BPL! The old app is no longer functional.
