Comics Plus
Comics Plus offers FREE unlimited access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga. Access Comics Plus with your Bloomfield library card using the Library Pass app on a mobile device or an internet browser on a computer. 

hoopla digital movies and more

Hoopla enables you to borrow e-books, audio books, and comics (to download or stream) straight from your browser, tablet, or smartphone for FREE. Hoopla also includes access to movies, television shows, music albums, e-magazines, The Great Courses, and more! You will need your Bloomfield library card and an email address to create a Hoopla account. 

  • Each patron can borrow 5 items per month. The 7-day BingePass allows unlimited access to e-magazines, The Great Courses, and more.
  • All hoopla titles are available for checkout immediately – no waiting in line!

OverDrive Collection & Libby App

The Libby app offers free downloadable e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines, and streaming movies available in the OverDrive collection. Log in with your library card to access the full collection. You can check out up to 10 items at a time (e-magazine checkouts don’t count toward your limit).

The Palace Project

eGO/Palace Project

The CT State Library’s eGO collection offers over 14,000 FREE downloadable e-books and e-audio through The Palace Project. To access the eGO collection, download the free Palace Project app (by LYRASIS) using the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.



TrueFlix is a FREE social studies and science resource that features e-books paired with a variety of related multimedia content about people, places, history, science, and nature. Read, watch and explore primary sources, fiction, videos, audio clips, images, and related websites. For grades 3 and up.
