Our July 2022 Tween Book Club title is a graphic by fan favorite Svetlana Chmakova…BE WARY OF THE SILENT WOODS (Weirn books #1). And best of all, I can actually give out copies of the chapter book to keep for anyone interested in joining the discussion! Just visit our Prosser or our McMahon Wintonbury location to pick up your personal copy of the book! You must be registered for the program to claim a copy of the book. There are a limited number of copies, so free books are only available while supplies last. Registration is also required to receive the Zoom information to join the virtual discussion. Join Bloomfield Public Library for it’s first ever BookCon…a book event for kids and teens! What is BookCon?
The Bloomfield Public Library Book Conference – or “BookCon” – is a chance for kids, tweens and teens to select and go home with FREE books of all kinds (and a variety of extra goodies!). Just visit the in-person BookCon event during one of the two timeframes (4-5pm or 6-7:30pm), and you can select all of the free things you’d like to take home…it’s as easy as that! Our event will take place offsite at 330 Park Avenue in Bloomfield (The Great Room A #128). PLEASE NOTE: This event is for youth – only kids and teens will be allowed to select books to take home! 🙂 No registration necessary. Read more >
