From I-91
  • Take I-91 to Exit 35B (Route 218, Windsor/Bloomfield). From I-91 South, turn RIGHT off the exit ramp onto Route 218; From I-91 North turn LEFT off the exit ramp onto Route 218.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Route 189 North (Bloomfield Avenue).
  • Turn LEFT onto Route 178 West (Mountain Avenue). The library is located on the corner of Routes 189 and 178. The library parking lot is the first driveway on the RIGHT on Route 178 (Mountain Avenue).
From I-84 East
    • Take I-84 to Exit 41 (South Main Street). Turn LEFT off the exit ramp onto South Main Street.
    • Follow South Main Street through the center of West Hartford where South Main Street becomes North Main Street. North Main Street then becomes Route 218 (Cottage Grove Road) in Bloomfield.
    • Turn LEFT onto Route 189 North (Bloomfield Avenue).
    • Turn LEFT onto Route 178 West (Mountain Avenue). The library is located on the corner of Routes 189 and 178. The library parking lot is the first driveway on the RIGHT on Route 178 (Mountain Avenue).
I-291 Shortcut (from I-84 West in Manchester)
    • Take I-84 West to Exit 61 (I-291 West/Windsor).
    • Take I-291 to Exit 1 (Route 218/Bloomfield). Take a LEFT at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 218 West.
    • Turn RIGHT onto Route 189 North (Bloomfield Avenue).
    • Turn LEFT onto Route 178 West (Mountain Avenue). The library is located on the corner of Routes 189 and 178. The library parking lot is the first driveway on the RIGHT on Route 178 (Mountain Avenue).
