Social Justice Book Club: They Called Us Enemy by George Takei (Virtual) (Tue., May 28th @ 6:30 PM)

These writing workshops are structured to address the key elements of writing and publishing your work. The first 30 minutes will be dedicated to writing – prompts are provided and writing time from 5 – 10 minutes per prompt. The next 45 minutes are dedicated to sharing and feedback. you can share one of the pieces you wrote in the first portion of the program, or bring copies of a poem or short prose to share. Join us as we engage in conversation with advocate and viral social media influencer Oliver James about the joys of literacy, the role of libraries, and how important it is to be a lifelong learner in community with other lifelong learners and readers.
